Security Guard Training
AGE Security Services Inc. provides security staff training for the following classifications of security personnel.
- Basic Guard Card Training
- Guard Annual Refresher Training
- Exposed Firearm Permit Training
- Exposed Firearm Range Qualification & Requalification
- Executive Protection CCW Training
- Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) Training
- Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) Annual Refresher Training
Our Class Policy:
Our classes are in person and are instructed in English. We do not provide or allow translators nor do we allow the use of translation devices. Students must be fluent in the English language and able to understand, read, and write English. There is an examination at the end of class to measure retention of information needed to understand the roll of a Security Guard. All classes are pass or fail. Students who fail may retake the class by paying the full class fee. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Cancellation Policy:
Rescheduling a class date is free. Ten days advance notice is required. Otherwise a $20.00 charge applies.
Refund Policy:
There is a $50 service charge to cancel a class and receive a refund. Ten days advance notice is required. No refunds are given after any portion of a class is attended or if BSIS denies the student licensure as a Security Guard.
Security Guard Licensure:
The State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) has final determination on the issuance of a Security Guard License.
Pricing:
- Basic Guard Card (40 hours) – $1000.00
(8 Hours to apply for guard card application, Continuing Education (CE) 32 hours to meet BSIS requirements within 6 months of guard card issue date.16 hours within 30 days of licensure.)
- Guard Annual Refresher (CE) Training (8 hours) – $350.00
- Exposed Firearm Permit Training (8) – $450.00
- Exposed Firearm Range Qualification & Requalification (xxx) – $175.00
- Executive Protection CCW Training (16 hours) – $650.00
- Initial Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) Training (32 hours) -$800.00
- Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) Annual Refresher Training (8 hours) $250.00
